DEVOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Unit Description
This module is the foundation of the program. Bible believing Christians must learn how to devote their life to
Christ. The Bible speaks about how the primitive church devoted itself to prayer, worship, fellowship and Bible
study. The Holy Spirit is the source of keeping the church growing and maturing in Christ. Consequently, this
module will address prayer, worship, Bible study and relationship with the Holy Spirit. Its relationship with the
other modules is based on its path to lead to the next module which is “doctrinal development.” The students will
learn that doctrine is the source of knowing God and teaching life’s principles based on Christ’s dead and
resurrection. Consequently, the module will address “character development” based on the importance of holy
living. As a result, the students will understand that serving others is Jesus’ prerequisite for Kingdom greatness.
Therefore, the students will apply themselves to serving others (service development).
